Members show up for trivia nights, charity drives, and wedding receptions alike, and the 4.5-star rating across 76 reviews tells you this is not a dusty civic hall that people tolerate. People genuinely enjoy being here.

The Lodge serves as a full-service event venue and community gathering space. Families book it for milestones, including weddings where couples have called the setting beautiful and the pricing refreshingly reasonable. Charitable giving runs through everything the Beaverton Elks do, from scholarship programs to youth initiatives to community relief efforts that connect this single address to a national network of over 800,000 Elks members across the country.

BPOE lodges have a reputation for being welcoming to visitors and traveling members alike. Show up from out of town with your membership card and you will be greeted, not processed. That culture of open doors is exactly what makes Elks Lodge 1989 worth a closer look for anyone in the Beaverton, Oregon area looking for more than a gym membership or a Facebook group.

What We Offer

The Lodge offers a versatile event hall that seats wedding ceremonies, receptions, anniversary parties, and private gatherings at rates that do not require a corporate sponsor to afford. Included amenities reduce the vendor juggling that makes event planning exhausting, and members consistently cite the value as a genuine advantage over comparable venues in the Portland metro area.

Beyond private events, the Beaverton Elks calendar runs year-round with member events, fundraisers, and social nights that give you a reason to leave the house on a Tuesday. Charitable programs include scholarship awards, support for veterans, and Hoop Shoot youth basketball competitions that have sent local kids to national tournaments. Membership benefits extend to reciprocal access at Elks Lodges across the United States, meaning your card travels with you.

Prospective members can inquire about joining directly through beavertonelks.org. The process is straightforward, dues are modest, and the return on involvement scales with how much you put in.

"It's not really a "fraternal" organization... it's a collection of upper-middle class old white ladies. EXACTLY what Portland needs."

"My daughter chose this venue for her wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony and a fun reception! The price of the venue was reasonable, and the items included with the price were an extra help to my daughter and her husband and very much appreciated! The staff at the Elks Lodge were very helpful! My daughter loved working with them as they made everything easy! I highly recommend them!"

"Wow. I can't believe I haven't written this review yet. I'm absolutely overwhelmed with the giving and serving people here. Very generous. Very thoughtful. And I'm very appreciative of that. I was on the receiving side. Thank you Elks Lodge for a great Dining In and all you do for veterans on a regular basis.. you make it seem effortless, the things you do for others, but we know it takes special to give and give. And thank you VetRest.. VetRest. Org"

"We stopped in and were immediately greeted by an officer, as it should be. The bartender was attentive and gave us a Lodge pin and pint glass as welcome gifts. Nice. Many folks stopped to say hello and welcomed us as out of town visitors. We will be back!"

Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
